Personnel injury protection [PIP]-

Personnel injury protection is mandatory in the state of Texas but the policyholder can decline this coverage if he is not willing for it. Texas auto insurance has a provision for this.   • Lost wages – if the injured person is not in a position to work then he might get some help from Texas auto insurance as the company pays his wages loss.
  • Substitute services-this is an additional service provided by the Texas auto insurance as they can provide a substitute who can help the injured person to do his regular household chore’s and other tasks. This is provided by the Texas auto insurance if he opts for a personnel injury protection.
  • Funeral expenses- the funeral expenses are paid by the Texas auto insurance company in case there is a death caused in an accident. It can be some one from the policyholder’s side or the other driver or his co passengers who was traveling with him. it also includes the policy holder in case of his death.
 

In this PIP protection the Texas auto insurance will provide the maximum quote amount that will be paid per person for any combination of covered expenses.  

Uninsured /underinsured motorist bodily injury-

If the policyholder opted for this uninsured/underinsured motorist bodily injury in the Texas auto insurance policy, if he wants to apply it to multiple cars then he must select the same limit to each car. But the limits which one selects must e less then or equal to the bodily injury treatment expenses. But in this claim the policyholder will be responsible to pay $ 250 deductible premium.
